Los Angeles Domination NBA All-Star 2012
Los Angeles Lakers and city rivals, the Los Angeles Clippers players will dominate the list of 2012 NBA All-Star. Lakers and Clippers will each contribute two players on the West roster.

Lakers guard, Kobe Bryant and center Andrew Bynum, will be joined by forward Blake Griffin and guard Chris Paul in the team. The only non-Los Angeles players are Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder, who was chosen by fans as a forward.
 
 
 
Miami Heat team put two players in the East region, which is Lebron James and Dwayne Wade as a forward who was selected as a guard. Dwight Howard of Orlando Magic is the best player voted by 1.6 million votes, and will be playing as a starter in the East region team, in front of his own supporters at the Amway Center arena. Another basketball player on the team are Carmelo Anthony East region of New York and Chicago guard Derrick Rose is the best player last season.
This is the first all-star game for Bynum, while Griffin will feel the play as a starter for the first time. The reserve players for each team will be announced later. 2012 all-star game will be played in Orlando, Florida, on February 26.

Houston Rockets

Houston Rockeets is the American basketball team joined in the National Basketball Association. The team is based in Houston, Texas. The name of the Rockets selected in a search contest motto of San Diego when the club was still based in San Diego.  The city is home to produce the Atlas rocket used by NASA. When San Diego became the headquarters of NASA, the Rockets still retain that name although it has been moved to Houston.  Houston Rockets have won the NBA as much as 2 times, namely in 1994 and 1995, when led by Clyde Drexler and Hakeem Olajuwon.



When I first joined the NBA in the year 1971/72, the Rockets took Elvin Hayes (The Big E) which is the star of the team. However, a year later, Hayes is transferred to another club.  In 1975, the Rockets reached the playoffs the first in the NBA, led by Calvin Murphy and Rudy Tomjanovich forward. A year later, Moses Malone, the first incoming basketball players to professional competition (American Basketball Association-ABA) after graduating from high school, joining Houston. Along with the club, Malone became the NBA's best players and bring the Rockets to the Eastern finals for the first time in 1977.

San Antonio Spurs

San Antonio Spurs are a basketball team in the National Basketball Association based in San Antonio, Texas. They have won the NBA championship 4 times, 1999, 2003, 2005 and 2007.

History

They originally named Dallas Chaparrals in the American Basketball Association (ABA) in 1967. Later renamed the Texas Chaparrals in the season 1970-1971. In 1973 they were bought by a group of businessmen from San Antonio of 36 people, led by Angelo Drossos and Red McCombs and was named the San Antonio Spurs.


 



The team is starting to become one of the stronger teams in the Western Conference when the time of George Gervin, precisely in the year 1976-1985. They became a team into the playoffs and subscriptions often to win the division, but never advanced to the NBA Finals after losing to teams like the Washington Bullets, Boston Celtics, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers. After the death of Gervin, the Spurs entered the hard times and the Spurs had threatened to move the city because attendance dropped dramatically from 1985 are calculated. Phoenix Suns

Phoenix Suns basketball team is the American who joined in the National Basketball Association.  The team is based in Phoenix, Arizona.  The team was founded in 1968 at a cost of two million dollar expansion. The name came out as the Phoenix Suns winner in the election process and the name of defeating several options other names, such as Scorpions, Rattlers, Thunderbirds, Wranglers, Mavericks, Mustangs and Cougars. The first season the Suns play in the NBA is the worst team this season with a 16-66 win-loss record . the best win-loss record is 62-20 Suns reached the NBA season in 1992/93 and 2004/05.




In 1987, the Suns owner Jerry Colangelo became after he led the ownership group that bought sebuat team at a price of $ 44 million.  Until 2011, the Suns have not pocketed the NBA title, but this team has a number of achievements, which is 2 degrees champion the region, six division titles, and appeared in the playoffs as much as 29 times.  Some have won awards Suns coaches and players, among them Cotton Fitzsimmons and Mark D'Antoni (Best Coach 1989 & 2005), Alvan Adams, Walter Davis, and Amare Stoudemire (Best Newcomer 1976, 1978, & 2003), and Charles Barkley, and Steve Nash (NBA Most Valuable Player 1993 and 2005).

Sacramento Kings

Sacramento Kings basketball team is the American who joined in the National Basketball Association. The team is based in Sacramento, California.  Formerly the team is based in Rochester, New York and known as the Rochester Royals, founded in 1945 as part of National Basketball League (NBL).  In his second year competing in the NBL, Rochester won the title. A year later, moved to Rochester competitions Basketball Association of America (BAA).  In 1951, the Rochester Royals won the NBA title. Before she moved to Sacramento in 1985, this team had changed names several times , the Cincinnati Royals, the Kansas City-Omaha Kings, and the Kansas City Kings.



In the 1985/86 season, competed in the NBA Sacramento Kings for the first time using the headquarters Sacramento Sports Arena (later known as ARCO Arena the Kings) with a capacity of 10.333 seats.  Two years later, the Kings have a new stadium with a capacity of 16.517 seats are also called ARCO Arena. Oklahoma City Thunder

Oklahoma City Thunder is a basketball team from the city of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States who are members of the National Basketball Association. Thunder is the incarnation of the team the Seattle SuperSonics are now no longer follow the NBA. The team started following the NBA season (2008-09) with the first match is against the Milwaukee Bucks (away party), where they lost by a score of 98-87.

Even though it is an incarnation of the team, they do not use symbols, colors, and logos SuperSonics. SuperSonics past history (1967-2008) will also be shared ("shared") between the Oklahoma City NBA and the new NBA team in Seattle. While players are in uniform SuperSonics last season (including players that are draft by the Sonics in the NBA Draft 2008) will play for Oklahoma City team. Management team and head coach and manage teams that take care of Oklahoma City is also taken from the Seattle Sonics.


Naming the team

NBA has given a deadline to find a new identity for Oklahoma City NBA no later than September, but the NBA expects new identity for this team will be announced in August.  Although some sources say he was close to the group of NBA owners who told reporters that the team This will be called the Oklahoma City Thunder , but the NBA gave the name of potential for this team: Barons, Bison, Energy, Marshalls, Wind, and Thunder.

Utah Jazz

Utah Jazz basketball team is the American who joined in the National Basketball Association. The team is based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Jazz name was taken from the musical heritage of the city of Utah. Formerly the team is based in New Orleans, Louisiana and named New Orleans Jazz. NO Jazz joined the NBA in 1974 and several years of occupying the bottom position in the list of NBA teams. During joining the NBA, this club has some of the stadium, the Salt Palace, Thomas Mack Center, and the Energy Solutions Arena (Delta Arena).



In 1979, team owner of the Jazz moved to Salt Lake City. Jazz at the bottom of the list position has not changed much and the club suffered the worst season in the NBA with a winning record losing 24-58 on the season 1979/80. In the mid-1980s, the Jazz get young players John Stockton and Karl Malone. In 1994, John Stockton equal the record that assists held by NBA legend, Bob Cousy, while Karl Malone scores through the acquisition of as many as 19,000 numbers. Still in the same year, Jeff Hornacek also join the Jazz after moving from the Philadelphia 76ers. Orlando Magic

Orlando Magic basketball team is the American who joined the NBA. The club is based in Orlando, Florida.  The name is taken from the Magic Kingdom Magic (Magic Kingdom) in Walt Disney World, Orlando. The name chosen in a contest by defeating another option, namely Tropics and Juice.





Magic's first season in the NBA in the year 1989/1990 was the worst season with a 18-64 win-loss record.  the best season the Magic won in the year 1995/96 with a record 60-22 defeat to win. At that time, the Magic get young players like Anfernee Hardaway and Shaquille O'Neal brought the team into the NBA finals for the first time.  In the same year, O'Neal decided to join the LA Lakers. Following the senior players Dennis Scott, Nick Anderson, Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway is also out of the club. n the 1999/2000 season, the club rebuilt by coach Doc Rivers is the best NBA coach in 2000. Rivers put 11 young players with experience playing 3 years or less in the NBA.  He also managed to get the NBA star Grant Hill and Tracy McGrady to defend Magic.

Cleveland Cavaliers

Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team is the American who joined in the National Basketball Association. The team is based in Cleveland, Ohio. The team began playing in the NBA in 1970 as a new team. The best achievement of this team is to win the Eastern Conference (for the first time in 2007.

History

LeBron James Era

Some seasons continue to experience defeat led the Cavaliers fell to the bottom of the league standings and become a team that routinely have to go through the lottery to get a new player. After a disappointing season in 2002-03, the Cavaliers get the first lottery to pick new players in the NBA Draft. Simultaneously, the team chose a high school basketball whiz and aspiring MPV future NBA, LeBron James. James is the star status of the area (never played basketball in high school St. Vincent-St. Mary, near Akron) and one of the most touted prospects in NBA history to make a lot of people see choices as a turning point against the club's history. Dubbed by fans of the Cavaliers as the "King James," the 2003-04 season to give great hope to the future, where James grew into the most dominant player and won the NBA Rookie of the Year. Hope continues to expand in the 2004-05 season. James increase its productivity in terms of scored, rebounds and assists per game. Despite losing to Carlos Boozer at the end of the season, with Zydrunas Ilgauskas and James Drew Gooden became the core of the team. Cavaliers make some changes at the end of the 2005 season. Under new owner Dan Gilbert, the team hire a new head coach Mike Brown and the new general manager, former Caveliers forward Danny Ferry. The team experienced success in the current season, entered the playoffs the first time since 1998. After winning the first round over the Washington Wizards, the Cavaliers back up 0-2 in round two against the Detroit Pistons, winning three games in a row until now looking for one more game to reach the final area. They lost the game strictly to 6 at home and finally followed by a 79-61 defeat in the game to 7.



Cavaliers continued success in the 2006-07 season. The team came second in the east with a record of 50-32, promises a number of interesting games in the playoffs. They fought with the Wizards, who struggled with injuries towards the end of the regular season. Cavaliers brushing resistance in the first round 4-0, and beat the Nets 4-2 in round two. Cavaliers face the Pistons in the Eastern Conference finals. After once again losing in the first two games in Detroit, the Cavaliers won the next three games to lead 3-2. This time, the Cavs get rid of Detroit in game 6. The win included victory with a 109-107 double over-time in game 5 at the Palace of Auburns Hills, where LeBron James scored 25 points for the Cavs last until his appearance in this game is listed as one of the best in NBA history. Indiana Pacers basketball team is the United States who are members of the National Basketball Association. The team is based at Conseco Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana. Before occupying the stadium Conseco Fieldhouse, Pacers once had headquarters at the State Fairgrounds (1967-1974) and Market Square Arena (1974-1999). n 1967, the Pacers and joined in the competition founded the American Basketball Association (ABA). The first player to join the club is Roger Brown, a star player one-on-one (one-on-one) from New York City and worked in one of the local factories. Until 1976 , the Pacers have won three ABA titles.  During compete in the ABA, the most prominent Pacers player Mel Daniels is the best player get two ABA titles. When the ABA and NBA merged in 1967, the Pacers became one one of four teams that joined the NBA. In 2000, Larry Bird led the Pacers as coach for the NBA Finals to the first time. In 2004 / 5, Reggie Miller, Jermaine O'Neal, and Ron Artest brings  his better Pacers reached the NBA season with win-loss record of 61-21.

New Jersey Nets

New Jersey Nets basketball team is the American who joined in the National Basketball Association. The team is based in Newark, New Jersey. The team was formed in 1967 with the name of the New Jersey Americans. Initially, NJ Americans play in the competition of the American Basketball Association (ABA) and won two ABA championships when he was reinforced by Julius Erving. owner of the club, Arthur Brown, intends to put his team in New York City, but because they do not get anywhere then the team spent the 1967-68 season in Teaneck, New Jersey. The name of the Nets was taken when the team moved to New Jersey and aligned with the two sports teams that already exist in the city, the Mets (baseball) and the Jets (football).

 


After playing at the Teaneck Armory in the year 1967/68, the Nets could move to a stadium, the Long Island ArenaIsland Garden, Nassau Coliseum, Rutgers Athletic Center, Continental Airlines Arena, and finally the Prudential Center. the Nets joined the NBA in 1976 season / 77 by paying $ 8 million U.S. dollars. As a result, the Nets suffered financial problems and was forced to sell Julius Erving to the Philadelphia 76ers. Nets in the NBA's best season came in 2001/02 when point guard Jason Kidd, join the club. In that season, for the first time Nets advanced to the NBA finals. In the 2009/2010 season, the Nets were sold to Mikhail Prokhorov.  In that season, the Nets had the worst year with the only win in 12 games and lost as much as 70 times. 

Toronto Raptors

Toronto Raptors basketball team is the American who joined in the National Basketball Association. The team is based at Air Canada Centre, Toronto, Ontario.  Together with the Vancouver Grizzlies, the team became the first Canadian team to compete in the NBA since 1946/47. The name of the Raptors selected based on the type of meat-eating dinosaurs.

 

At the beginning of his first season, the Raptors hired Isiah Thomas, former NBA player who won two championships, as head of the public.  Formerly, this team has a headquarters called the Skydome, until in 1998 was transferred to the Air Canada Centre. 19997/98 In the NBA season, the Raptors have the worst season record for wins by losing 16-66. Dallas Mavericks

Dallas Mavericks (Mavs) is an American basketball team joined in the National Basketball Association. The team is based in Dallas, Texas.  In 2011, the Mavs won the NBA title for the first time.  The name is taken Mavericks of the TV western in the year 1957-1962 (the TV western Maverick.)  Selection of the team name is done by voting and said the Mavericks beat the other two options, namely Wranglers and Express. The team is based in Dallas, Texas.


In 1980, the Mavs built by Donald Carter to spend 12 million dollars.  He made an expansion team with the play of senior players with new players who have experience under three years.  The first season ended with a team record for wins - defeated (15-67).  In 1991-2001 a bad period for the Mavs because they did not even penetrate the playoffs (determination). Throughout the history of the Mavs until the year 2011, the team is experiencing the worst season in 1992 / 93 with a 11-71 win-loss record and the best in the 2006/07 season with a 67-15. In addition to having an NBA title, Dallas also collects four region titles, four division titles and played in 17 playoff seasons NBA. Some of the awards obtained by the player and Mavs coach Avery Johnson is (Coach of 2006), Jason Kidd (Best Newcomer 1995), Dirk Nowitzki (Player of the Year 2007).

Dirk Nowitzki

Dirk Werner Nowitzki is a German basketball player who played in the United States who play in competitions National Basketball Association (NBA) and Dallas Mavericks in the club. Bertinggi 213 cm body, Nowitzki plays as a forward, although it can plays as anything in front of the field as (center, power forward, or small forward).





Nowitzki is one of the best NBA player today, and as the best European players of all time. Although it looks like a German player in the NBA, in 2006 Nowitzki became just the second German-born player (after Detlef Schrempf) who brings his club to the 2006 NBA Finals after losing to the Miami Heat to 4-2. 2006-07 season, Nowitzki won the NBA Most Valuable Player (NBA season) even though the Mavericks failed to carry into the NBA Finals 2007. But in 2011 he managed to bring his club the Dallas Mavericks NBA championship after defeating the Miami Heat by a score of 4-2 and he MVP was awarded a first degree dallas 2011. This is final after it was founded 21 years ago.

Los Angeles Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers basketball team is the United States who are members of the National Basketball Association. The team is based in Los Angeles, California. Formerly the team was named the Detroit Gems until converted into the Minneapolis Lakers in 1947. Name Lakers taken from the ship carrying the cargo that passes through the Great Lakes.  In 1950, the Lakers won the NBA title for the first time. In 1960, Mineapollis Lakers moved to Los Angeles and renamed the LA Lakers.  Since then, the Lakers became the first NBA team in the West Coast region.  The Lakers won the best season in 1971/72 when the team broke NBA record by winning 33 consecutive victories. The season ended with win-loss record (69-13) and the Lakers out to be NBA champions.



At the beginning of incoming NBA, the Lakers have a headquarters in the LA Sports Arena.  Then, the team owner named Jack Kent Cooke, to build a stadium with a capacity of 17.000 spectators called the Great Western Forum (The Forum). In 1978, the team and the stadium was bought by Jerry Buss for 67.5 million U.S. dollars. In 1999, the Lakers have a new headquarters called the Staple Center. In the guidance of coach Phil Jackson, LA Lakers won five NBA championships in the period 2000-2010.  Until 2011, many coaches and players who won the Lakers in the NBA, among them Pat Riley, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant.

Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bean Bryant (born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, August 23, 1978, age 33 years) is an NBA player and plays for the Los Angeles Lakers. He wears the costume back numbered 24 (since 2006-07) and play the shooting guard position. Kobe was first played in the NBA in the 1996-1997 competition year and has led the Los Angeles Lakers to three times the current champions along with other star players, Shaquille O'Neal, who now plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers team.



Career Achievement

One of the best individual achievement was scoring 81 points as against the Toronto Raptors on January 22, 2006, which is the second highest number of digits in NBA history to be printed in one game. In this same season he scored 50 points up in 4 consecutive games. He has a record throughout his career which is making points in the top 50 21 times. But the record was not enough, because the player legend Wilt Chamberlain and Michael Jordan scored more points than 50, Chamberlain and Jordan with 108 times 31 times. However, in NBA history, he once scored 81 points in a game where it is to record the second highest number that is printed after Wilt Chamberlain to score 100 points in a game.

Bryant also recorded another record in terms of scoring. February 2, 2009 (local time), when the Lakers do the trip to New York Knicks, he scored 61 points with 61% percentage of successful shots and the Lakers won 126-117. Bryant scored 61 number that managed to surpass the record number ever scored by one player at Madison Square Garden, a record previously held by Bernard King.

Bryant also holds the record as the youngest player in NBA history who is able to score as many as 24,000 within 75 days of age 31 years, passed Wilt Chamberlain to have achieved this record at age 31 years 113 days. He became the 17th player who can score a number above 24 000

On February 1, 2010, Kobe Bryant scored 44 points to become the top scorer of all time past the Los Angeles Lakers Jerry West as the Lakers melakoni's trip to the FedEx Forum in Memphis against the Grizzlies.
